Coinfello launched March 30 at EthCC in Cannes, positioning itself as a self-sovereign AI agent platform built to automate on-chain actions while users keep custody of wallets and private keys. The web app uses delegated, user-defined permissions, human-readable transaction reviews, and smart accounts for automation, and it integrates with Metamask and other EVM wallets. Company executives say the product is aimed at retail users and developers now, with expectations for institutional adoption later.

Coinbase has suspended trading for Ronin (RONIN) as the network moves into the execution stage of its planned migration to a new Ethereum layer-2. The exchange said on 30 March that users can still withdraw funds, but it will not handle the migration for customers and RONIN must be moved to a compatible self-custodial wallet before the upgrade completes.

Torg Grabber, a newly identified infostealer, is being deployed to target 728 crypto wallet browser extensions across 850 add-ons. On Wednesday, Trust Wallet introduced Agent Kit, a developer tool designed to let AI agents carry out real crypto transactions on more than 25 blockchains while keeping wallet control with users. The release supports two setups: a dedicated agent wallet with pre-set permissions, or a WalletConnect flow where an agent proposes actions that require user approval. Hong Kong has implemented new National Security Law rules effective March 23 that make it a criminal offense to refuse to provide passwords or help decrypt personal electronic devices. Circle has reinstated the USDC balance for one of the 16 wallets it previously froze, according to onchain investigator ZachXBT. He said the wallet "0x61f…e543," linked to Goated.com, now holds 130,966 USDC and suggested more wallets could be unfrozen "in the near future."

Irish national police say the Criminal Assets Bureau accessed and seized a crypto wallet holding 500 BTC on Tuesday, with help from Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre. The CAB put the value at more than $35 million, while Arkham-labeled addresses tied to Clifton Collins show 500 BTC moving to Coinbase Prime the same day.

On March 23, 2026, MoonPay released the Open Wallet Standard (OWS), an open-source, non-custodial framework aimed at helping AI agents store value and sign transactions across major blockchains without revealing private keys. The project supports eight chain families via an encrypted vault with policy-gated signing and local-first storage, and is backed by over 15 organizations including the Ethereum Foundation, Solana Foundation, and PayPal.

On March 24, 2026, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink used his annual letter to argue that tokenization could help widen participation in financial markets. He said digital wallets and tokenized assets may "update the plumbing" of the financial system by making investments easier to issue, trade and access.
