AMD commits £2 billion to UK AI supercomputers over five years, targets $1T valuation

AMD said on Monday at London Tech Week it will invest £2 billion in the UK over the next five years to build an AI supercomputer cluster, including two systems dubbed "Zenith" and "Sunrise". The stock rebounded about 2% after a nearly 11% drop last Friday, as the company sits around a $850 billion market value and is less than 20% from the $1 trillion mark.
