Zealand Pharma shares slide up to 26% after survodutide safety data raises concerns

Zealand Pharma shares fell as much as 26% on Monday after late-stage results for its experimental obesity drug survodutide highlighted side-effect concerns. The company said the trial met its main goals, but 19% of patients discontinued due to gastrointestinal events versus 2.9% on placebo, with more than 40% reporting vomiting.
